As a group we found it exceeding difficult to decide on a theme for our swede. To begin with we were certain that focusing on a comedy would get the best result and audience reaction; this ended up with us going through choices including the well know teen film 'American Pie', after a discussion we deemed that it wouldn't be practical considering its content. In the end we moved genres and drew it down to horror. Although this may seem like it would contain much more mature content, we thought that considering that swedes are 'naff' remakes of films it would be much more comical to dramatically re-enact our favourite scenes in a theoretical manner. Finally we was left to decide between two films 'The Conjuring' and 'Saw'. Due to us all having a greater knowledge of Saw it ended up that we would make our swede based on that. The whole of group 19 is beyond excited to begin production after searching for props and narrowing down the film, check back for any updates!
